Hydroponic growers in Zhongshan were looking to expand production but faced challenges with their existing structures. Traditional greenhouses could not maintain the stable temperature, humidity, and airflow required for hydroponic systems. Fluctuating climate conditions caused inconsistent nutrient absorption, slower plant growth, and reduced overall yield. High humidity during the rainy season also increased the risk of algae growth and system contamination. The growers needed a more controlled and cleaner environment to support large-scale hydroponic operations.

FANGCHENG designed a specialized greenhouse tailored to hydroponic vegetable production. The structure incorporated high-transparency film for optimal light penetration, essential for leafy greens and fast-growing vegetables. An upgraded ventilation system—including ridge and side vents—helped maintain consistent airflow and prevented heat accumulation. To support hydroponic cleanliness requirements, the greenhouse was equipped with improved drainage, insect screening, and layout planning for nutrient tanks, pipelines, and work aisles. Optional shading and insulation layers were integrated to stabilize the environment during extreme weather.

Once completed, the new greenhouse provided a highly stable and efficient growing environment. Hydroponic vegetables showed faster and more uniform growth, nutrient solution stability improved, and contamination risks dropped significantly. Growers achieved higher yields, better product appearance, and more predictable harvest cycles—greatly enhancing the commercial value of their hydroponic production.
