This sawtooth-style film greenhouse in Guangzhou’s Panyu District is a representative example of local agricultural facility upgrades. The structure features a distinctive high-low roof profile that creates continuous natural ventilation channels, significantly improving airflow inside the greenhouse. For the warm and humid climate of South China, this design helps reduce heat buildup and lowers the risk of moisture-related plant diseases.

During the planning stage, the greenhouse was customized based on the grower’s production needs. Structural strength, ventilation design, and shading options were carefully optimized. Large roof vents—either manual or automated—allow consistent air exchange throughout the day, while the film covering provides excellent light transmission and stable insulation for crop growth.

Since completion, the greenhouse has improved production efficiency and simplified daily management. Growers benefit from a more stable micro-environment, from seedling cultivation to full-cycle crop management. This project has become a successful demonstration of sawtooth greenhouse application in Panyu and serves as a practical model for surrounding farms.
