A grower in Meizhou, Guangdong needed a solution that could handle the region’s long hours of sunlight and high summer temperatures. The client was expanding production and required two types of structures: a multi-span film greenhouse for controlled cultivation and a large shade-net flat structure to protect outdoor crops from excessive heat and direct radiation. Their main goal was to stabilize the growing environment while keeping the overall investment practical.

FANGCHENG designed a multi-span film greenhouse that provides strong light transmission and improved internal airflow. The structure allows the grower to maintain more stable temperature and humidity levels, creating a suitable environment for protected cultivation. Its connected-span layout offers efficient use of land and provides enough space for irrigation systems, work aisles, and crop rotation planning.

In addition to the greenhouse, FANGCHENG built a shade-net flat structure to help reduce heat stress on outdoor crops. The shading system softens sunlight, lowers surface temperatures, and protects plants during peak summer periods. The lightweight frame design made installation quick, and the adjustable shading density allowed the client to tailor light levels to different crop types.

After both structures were put into use, the grower observed stronger crop resilience during hot weather, improved growth uniformity, and reduced losses caused by intense sunlight. The combination of a film greenhouse and a shaded flat area provided a flexible, cost-effective solution that matched Meizhou’s climate and supported the client’s long-term production goals.
